Message from the Principal

Dear Westbrook Families:
I am so honored and thrilled to serve our Westbrook students, staff, and families as lead-learner. It’s been wonderful to meet so many of our Westbrook community members already, and I can’t wait to meet everyone when we welcome our students and families for the new school year!
The elementary primary-years are critical times of development for students and families alike, and I look forward to working with all of you to make this year successful for all our learners. I look forward to building lasting relationships with each and every member of our Westbrook community. Please introduce yourself in the days and weeks to come.
Westbrook teachers and support staff are dedicated to making sure that every child receives the very best education possible. They continue to strive towards providing effective learning environment that challenges and promotes high academic achievement, while meeting the social, physical, and emotional needs of every student. This is so crucial to our young learners. We want students to feel safe and cared for, as they get excited about becoming life-long learners!
We consider parents to be an essential part of the success of our overall school program.  I strongly encourage you to regularly check on the progress of your child and maintain close communication with their teachers. I would also like to encourage you to consider joining our PTA and partner with Westbrook in learning! Research supports the fact that direct parental involvement does make a difference in student success. Together, we will continue to make a positive difference in the lives of our children!
I have no doubt this school year will provide every Westbrook student the opportunity to become the best they can be. It is my privilege to serve as your principal.
