Dear Westbrook Families:


It was such a pleasure to see so many of our wonderful students and families at our tour day. The excitement was contagious and we can’t wait to welcome our students to first day of school next week!

As we look ahead, here is a quick reminder of upcoming dates to keep in mind:

Wednesday, August 23rd – First Day of School

First Full Day of School (Grades 1 and 2) 8:55 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Kindergarten Schedule August 23rd - Front Gym:

Open House for parents and students according to following schedule:
9:15 – 10:15 a.m.      All a.m. students with last names A through K
10:30 – 11:30 a.m.    All a.m. students with last names L through Z
1:00 – 2:00 p.m.        All p.m. students with last names A through K
2:15 – 3:15 p.m.        All p.m. students with last names L through Z

A.M. Thursday, August 24 – Only students with last names A through K will attend the regular kindergarten schedule. Buses will run as usual.

P.M. Thursday, August 24 – Only students with last names A through K will attend regular kindergarten schedule. Buses will run as usual.

A.M. Friday, August 25 – Only students with last names L through Z will attend regular kindergarten schedule. Buses will run as usual.

P.M. Friday, August 25 – Only students with last names L through Z will attend regular kindergarten schedule. Buses will run as usual.

Monday, August 28 - All kindergarten students begin their regular schedule.

 

Wednesday, August 30thEC REACH Curriculum Night (parents only) - Front Gym 6-7:30 p.m.


Thursday, August 31st – Grades K-2 Curriculum Night (parents only)

6:15 p.m.  New Family Information Session - Front Gym
6:30 p.m.  Grade Level Parent Information Sessions
     Kindergarten in Classrooms
     Grade 1 in Front Gym
     Grade 2 in Classrooms

 

Westbrook is sparkling and ready for our students’ return next week! Our amazing teachers have been extra busy and working hard in their preparations for their kiddos and are excited to welcome them back for a fantastic year of learning and growth this year! 

As we anticipate changes in our routines from summer break to school, we hope you are enjoying the last few days of break while preparing ourselves, both students and parents, for a smooth transition back to school!
